A week exploring new frontiers, infant cognition, emotions, and care, including the history of children's health, while rethinking classic themes such as work, children's art and literature, and naturalist approaches to learning.

The scientific study of infant minds is relatively recent. Yet isn't every human caregiver a natural expert on infancy ? By discussing some of the major discoveries and blindspots of the last decades on how infants think and learn, I will suggest that the study of infant minds may still provide powerful lessons for understanding ourselves as a species and our place within the complex interdependencies that compose planet Earth.
